Electrical Thermal Management System

Bergstrom’s electrical heat pump thermal management system is designed to provide both heating and air conditioning for a wide range of vehicles.including internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles (EVs).

OEM

The system operates across voltages ranging from 24V to 800V, making it highly adaptable. It incorporates a small refrigerant loop contained within the system, which does not reverse, while reversing is handled on the coolant loops running through the condenser and evaporator.
This innovative system delivers hot or cold coolant to various components, including cabin HVAC for passenger comfort, battery thermal management to maintain optimal battery performance, and drivetrain cooling for critical parts such as motors, inverters, and converters. By combining efficiency and versatility, it meets the thermal management needs of both conventional and modern electric vehicles.
